This faucet collection draws inspiration from the raw beauty of industrial castings, reinterpreting its utilitarian heritage through refined proportions, considered connections, and a more elemental silhouette.
A distinctive cast texture lends an artisanal quality, balanced by sleek lines, sculptural forms, and a considered palette of premium finishes.
With interchangeable handles and spouts, the collection invites personal expression while maintaining a cohesive design language.
The result is a modern take on industrial style—where materiality, precision, and craftsmanship come together in a collection that feels both enduring and distinctly contemporary.
Showcasing the versatility a choice of spouts and handles can offer
A story of elemental elegance. Inspired by the industrial past, but boiled down to its elements with precise connection details, and contrasts in texture.
Articulated Swing configuration with cane spout in satin black and polished nickel
Wall-mount Bridge configuration with cane and square spouts
Design Positioning
Developed a positioning framework to define the Billet collection’s place within the industrial design spectrum.
By mapping key aesthetic territories and analyzing Kohler’s existing portfolio alongside competitive offerings, we identified opportunities to differentiate the collection through material expression, mechanical detailing, and a balance of raw industrial character with contemporary refinement. The analysis informed the collection’s design direction, helping establish a distinct identity within the broader market.
